BIM concepts, installation guidance, file formats, software compatibility, the Revit interface and navigation.

Levels, structural grids, columns and beams; linking and importing CAD files and working with components.

Walls, doors, windows, floors, roofs, stairs, ramps, railings and curtain walls; ceilings, lighting fixtures and materials.
04
Views, elevations, sections, dimensions, text, detail lines, symbols, legends, sheet setup and printing.
05
Tags, rooms, room tags and schedules for organizing information within your architectural model.
06
In-place forms, rendering, camera setup, project location, sun and shadows, PDF imports and basic animation.
Revit 2026 — Autodesk minimum requirements
Operating system: 64-bit Windows 10 version 1809 or later, or Windows 11.
Processor: Intel or AMD, 2 GHz or faster base clock.
Memory: 16 GB RAM.
Graphics: DirectX 11, Shader Model 5 and 24-bit color.
Display: at least 1280 × 1024.
Storage: 30 GB for installation.
Other: compatible mouse and internet for registration and required downloads.
Autodesk recommendations: at least 4 GB graphics memory and 100 GB free space for temporary files. Its balanced configuration uses 32 GB RAM and 6 GB graphics memory. Requirements vary with model complexity.
